Obituary of Juanita H. Dooley

WEST COLUMBIA-Funeral service for Juanita H. Dooley, 90, of West Columbia, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Red Bank Baptist Church. Pastor Aster Jacobs will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Serenity Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice House, 141 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. Mrs. Dooley went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 9, 2013. Born in Luck Now, SC, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Minner Lee Gardner Hall. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. Mrs. Dooley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother; sister and friend. She was the Rock of her family. Surviving are her husband, Robert Homer Dooley of West Columbia; daughters, Debra Sims of West Columbia and Lisa Dooley of Leesville; sons, Lee McLeod of Swansea and Billy McLeod of Sandy Run; sister, Moise Perry of Gilbert; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews; and her loving pet, Roscoe. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael H. Dooley and daughter-in-law, Sybil McLeod.
