Obituary of Jack L. Chandler

Lexington—Funeral services for Jack L. Chandler III, 18, of Lexington, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Pastor John Ritenbaugh will officiate. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 12-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Jack passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Born in West Columbia, he was the son of Jack L. Chandler, Jr. and Melissa Lulene Paul Candler. Jack was an area resident since December 21, 1994. He was active at Pine Grove Sports complex in Lexington and Freedom Homeschool Support Group. He was a yearbook member, on the AAA Driver Improvement Program of Lexington; he mastered the guitar, and enjoyed working with basic auto mechanics and skate boarding. Jack was an employee of Food Lion. Surviving in addition to his parents, Jack and Melissa Chandler; sister, Kayla Lulene Leviti (David McKenzie) of Gilbert; expectant niece, Emma Leona Leviti; maternal grandmother and grandfather, Ruby Lulene Paul and Mack James Paul, Sr. and a large and loving extended family. Jack was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and grandmother, Jack L. Chandler, Sr. and Ruby Lowder Chandler.
