Obituary of Wylie H. Sinclair
COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Wylie H. Sinclair, Jr., 72, of Columbia, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home , Lexington Chapel. Chaplain Mark Bredholt will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 at the funeral home.
Mr. Sinclair passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Wylie H. Sinclair, Sr. and Bessie Ann Cook Sinclair. He was a lifelong area resident and retired from Honeywell formerly known as Allied Chemicals. Wylie loved to cook, loved spending time with his friends and family. He was a loving father, grand-paw and great-grand-paw; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his daughters, Regina Crowley (Rusty) and Jean Maner (Larry); son, Dewayne Sinclair; ten grandchildren, Brittany, Courtnie, Larry, DJ, Christopher, Betty, Jay, Tasha, Bobby and Brooklyn; eleven great-grandchildren; his beloved dogs, Coco and Pedro. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Edna; brothers, Harry and Clifford Sinclair and James Yancey; grandson, Bobby Yancey.
