Obituary of Glenn Eugene Campbell

A memorial service celebrating the life of Glenn Eugene Campbell, 83, of Blythewood, South Carolina will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Mr. Campbell passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 of natural causes at his residence in Blythewood S.C. He was born on September 20, 1930 to the late Harry and Azalee Ford Campbell. Mr. Campbell was an Olympia High School student who served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from Southern Railroad after many years of dedicated service. Mr. Campbell was a very talented and skilled man who enjoyed making crafts and furniture. He also enjoyed canning and making his blue ribbon quality wine. He made a seven layer chocolate cake that was out of this world. He was always there to support his family and you could always count on him. Mr. Campbell is survived by his sons, James Campbell, Randal Campbell, Johnny Campbell (Khanh Ha Nguyen) and David Campbell; a daughter, Glenda Moorer (Ralph); a brother, Harry Campbell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose June Campbell; daughter, Pamela Lofton; brothers, Clyde and Archie Campbell; and a sister, Eleanor Wise.
