Obituary of Jacquelyn Suzanne Hyslop

Jacquelyn Suzanne (Cooper) Hyslop, 59, of Columbia entered into rest Saturday, December 28, 2013 at her home. Born Saturday, January 2, 1954 in Munich Germany, she was a daughter of Willie G. (Ray) Cooper and the late Jack B. Cooper. Ms. Hyslop had been employed with Winthrop University for more than 20 years. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two sons, C. Cory Hyslop (Joy) and Travis Hyslop (Stacie); four sisters, Wanda Jo Geiger (Lloyd), Jonni Vincent (Alan), Jan Bates and DeRhonda Stackleather; grandchildren, Britt and Emily Hyslop; and seven nieces and nephews, Ashley, Amy, Courtney (Ben), Evan, Matthew, Madison and Adam. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M., on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home.
