Obituary of Johnny Lee Jones

LEXINGTON—Johnny Lee Jones, 52, of Lexington, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013. Born in Newton, NC, he was a son of Carrie Foote Jones and the late Jerry Franklin Jones. He was employed as a nurse at the Dorn VA Hospital in Columbia and a member of ARON. He loved his boys, Zeke and Stephen. Surviving are his sons, Zeke and Stephen Jones; mother, Carrie Foote Jones of Greensboro, NC; special friend, Ingrid Love; sisters, Laura Jones and Carol Jones both of Greensboro, NC; brothers, Jerry Jones of LA, David Jones, Bradley Jones, Gary Jones and Matthew Jones all of Greensboro, NC; mother of his children, Lillie Jones; along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073.
