Obituary of Carolyn Marie Lawson Cullen

CAYCE- Carolyn Marie Lawson Cullen, 64, of Cayce, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Born in Columbia, SC she was the daughter to the late Bernell Lucas and Willodene Lawson Freeman. Carolyn enjoyed life on the lake; she was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. A private burial will be held in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169 will be assisting the family. Survivors include her son, Ray (Doris) Gaites; daughter, Deana Padgett; step-father, William Odis Freeman; grandchildren, Joseph Padgett, Jr., Phillip Padgett, Chase Long, and Tawny Gaites. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, late husband, Albert Cullen, and her brothers, Billy Hall, Sr. and Mark Freeman.
