Obituary of Jesse Franklin Kaiser

SANDY RUN—Funeral services for Jesse Franklin Kaiser, 80, of Sandy Run will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Sandy Run Lutheran Church, 1927 Old State Road, Swansea, SC 29160. Reverend Robert W. Hawkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Henry Meetze, Henry Kaiser, Tommy Kaiser, Richard Stabler, Charles Jackson and Ed Fuson. The family will greet friends from 3-5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sandy Run Lutheran Church Building Fund or the Cemetery Fund, 1927 Old State Road, Swansea, SC 29160. Mr. Kaiser, beloved husband of Mary Lucy Teal Kaiser, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Born in Calhoun County on June 20, 1933, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Ethel Corley Kaiser. He was a member of Sandy Run Lutheran Church and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class. Mr. Kaiser retired from Food Service Supply Company in Columbia. Surviving in addition to his wife, Mary Lucy Kaiser; sister, Alice Stabler; two sons, Charles F. Kaiser and John Leon Kaiser; four step-sons, Tommy Hall, Robbie Hall, Chris Hall and David Hall; two step daughters, Liz Quick and Mona Mendez.
