Obituary of Arthur James Lent

A memorial service for Arthur James Lent, 63, (US Army, Ret.) of Columbia, SC will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery with full military honors. He was born in Oneonta, NY to the late James Arthur Lent and Ruth Hill Lent. Mr. Lent retired from the United States Army after many years of dedicated service to our country. Mr. Lent was predeceased by his sisters, Donna Lou Solovitch and Shirley Johns. Surviving are his loving wife of 41 years, Pamela Millard Lent; his children, Dawn Lent and James Arthur Lent (Sharon); two grandchildren, Janice and Robert Dougherty; his step-mother, Mabel Lent; three sisters, Phyllis Bell, Karen Clouse, and Betty Jo Cox; four brothers, Morris Johns, Dean Lent, Brian Lent, and Keith Lent; other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
