Obituary of James Ralston

GILBERT, SC—James "Jim" Ralston, 65, of Gilbert, SC, the beloved husband of Amy Hines Ralston, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014. Born in Munich, Germany, he was a son of the late William Arthur Ralston and Mary Ann Roppoli Ralston. He was a Chrysler Certified Master Tech. He previously worked at Vespia Tire and Goodyear in New Jersey, and Morgan Motors in Durham, NC. Jim was currently employed at JT's in Lexington, SC. Surviving in addition to his wife, Amy Ralston of Gilbert, SC; daughters, Denise Ralston of New Jersey and Amanda L. Conner of Gilbert; sons, Joseph P. Ralston of Gilbert and John Jaccoud of Lexington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Patrick Ralston and a sister, Sandra Ann Ralston. A visitation for James "Jim" Ralston will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073 in addition to Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the residence of John Berned in Pelion.
