Obituary of Juanita Gertrude Aldridge Miller

A funeral service celebrating the life of Juanita Gertrude Aldridge Miller, 85, of Columbia will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209 with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Serenity Gardens. Mrs. Miller departed this earthly life on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. She was born in Roanoke, VA to Rex Aldridge and Willie Hill Aldridge. Mrs. Miller was a member of Greenlawn Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, William E. Miller; a son, Gregg Edward Miller; her siblings, Lorene Trent, Bertie Basham, Wink Aldridge, and Alfred Aldridge. Those left to cherish her memories are a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Patricia Miller; a sister, Deanne Custer; a brother, Vernon Aldridge; two grandchildren, Tammy Hatcher and Alfred Richardson; five great-grandchildren, Victoria, Forrest, and Adam Hatcher & Britany and Amanda Richardson; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
