Obituary of Billie A. Jacobs

Billie A. Jacobs, nee Archer, 81, of Belleville, IL, born March 4, 1932, in Athens, GA, died Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Sycamore Village, Swansea, IL. She was preceded in death by a son, David F. Jacobs; her parents, Willie J. and Mary M., nee Logan, Archer; a sister, Nedra Archer; and two grandsons, Brian and Robert Jacobs. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Ret. USAF Col. Robert F. Jacobs, whom she married on June 10, 1951; two sons and a daughter, Tim (Charlotte) Jacobs of Seattle, WA, Steve (Barbara) Jacobs of Collinsville, IL, and Becky (Needham) Smith of Bozman, MD; a daughter-in-law, Susan Jacobs of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren, Matt, Laura, Aaron, Ned, Adam, and Angel; and ten great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Monday, February 10, 2014 in Greenlawn Memorial Park 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia SC 29209.
