Obituary of Toby Willis Day

WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Mrs. Toby Willis Day will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073. Reverend Jim Smith and Angela Hulon will officiate. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. After a life full of love, laughter, family and friends Toby passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Toby was born in Newberry on May 15, 1936. She was a daughter of the late Claude E. Willis and Ruthie Elizabeth Sanders Willis. She was retired from Winn Dixie and a member of Greenhill Baptist Church in West Columbia. Toby was preceded in death by her husband, James Heyward Day. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy Lynn Day, Kim and Fritz Hill and Melissa and Phil Demery; grandchildren, Ashley Wages, Krystal Andrews, Fritz Michael Hill, Kelsey Hill and Michael Lorick; great-grandchildren, Preston and Melvin Wages and Dallas Hill; her special niece and her husband, Ruth and Dave Howells and nephews, David & Robert Howells.
