Obituary of Wayne Charles Lambert

Due to the weather conditions, services and visitation have been moved to Friday, Feb..14, 2014 WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Wayne Charles Lambert of West Columbia, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073. The family will greet friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Lambert, beloved husband of 13 years to Sharon Lynn Duke Lambert, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Dorn VA Medical Center from a long illness. He was born on November 5, 1955 and was a member of Platt Springs United Methodist Church. He proudly served in the United State Navy. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather, Wayne will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Surviving in addition to his wife, Lynn Lambert of West Columbia; daughters, Marilyn Koon (Trey) of West Columbia and Samantha Brooks (Josh) of West Columbia; son, Patrick Lambert of West Columbia; granddaughter, Stella Brooks.
