Obituary of Jaclyn Louise Lewis

WEST COLUMBIA—Jaclyn Louise Lewis entered into peaceful rest on Sunday, February 9, 2014. She grew up in Cornwall, NY and graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a degree in Political Science. Jaci was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. She received her paralegal degree from Penn State. Jaci was employed by the law firm of Rogers Townsend and Thomas. She is survived by her mother, Vivian Lewis; sisters, Judith Heilich (Jim) and Cathy Scancarello (Mike); nieces, Kate and Danielle Heilich, Nicole and Toni Scancarell; nephew, Vinnie Scancarello; and her beloved animals, Willow, Maizie and Hudson. She was predeceased by her father, John Lewis and her beloved Bronson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made: In Memory of Jaci Lewis; Richland County Sheriff's Foundation K-9 Unit, 5623 Two Notch Road, Columbia 29223.
