Obituary of John W. Adams

John Williams Adams, Jr., 72, of Gilbert passed away February 19, 2014 at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center. Born Friday, July 11, 1941 in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late John, Sr., and Lessie Mae (McKissick) Adams. He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Nelson and her husband Erik; as well as a grandson Jacy Sturkie. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.
