Obituary of Linda Hoagland

BATESBURG-LEESVILLE--Linda M. Hoagland, 67, of Batesburg-Leesville met her father in heaven, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Palmetto Health Richland. Born Saturday, November 9, 1946 in Batesburg-Leesville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Cleo Moore. Raised in the Lutheran church, she and her husband attended Shandon United Methodist Church and Shandon Baptist Church. Mrs. Hoagland had worked in the Claims Department for Colonial Life for more than 10 years, and was also an Office Manager for a local physicians group. She will always be remembered as a loving, devoted wife, trusted advisor, wonderful listener, and for her unfailing positive attitude and supportive nature. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Moore, and step-mother, Emily Moore. Mrs. Hoagland is survived by her husband of 12 years, Ken Hoagland; step-daughters, DaRel Christiansen & Tina Coffey; step-sons, Devin & Kendol Hoagland; four grandchildren: Soren Christiansen, Anya & Faith Hoagland and Mya Coffey; sister & brother-in-law, Jim & Sharon Robinson; step-brother, Gary Hogan; in-laws, Harry & Judy Bristol; two very special nieces, Katie & Kristin Robinson; and a very special friend Sherry Jefferson. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M., on Saturday, March 8, 2014 in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, S.C. 29209.
