My heartfelt sympathies to all the family. I'm glad I got to visit with her and spend some time with her in the past few years. Aunt Babe will surely be missed!

Teresa, like most people I can't really find the appropriate words for what you are feeling. I know you're experiencing a pain that I've never had to deal with, and for that all I can say is that I'm truly sorry. I only met your Mom a few times but I knew she was a person who commanded a lot of respect. I always felt somewhat humbled in her presence. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. Sass

As children, we would all get excited when "Aunt Babe" came to visit with her laugh and southern accent and would look forward to her birthday cards with $2 in them. Its amazing that with all the nieces and nephews and family members she had, she never forgot a birthday or Christmas card. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out. As an adult, I regret not visiting and keeping in touch more. You will be sadly missed.
