Obituary of Eunice Anne Bednarek Caselli

Columbia—Funeral services for Eunice Anne Bednarek Caselli, 74, of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Thomas Caselli, Ryan Caselli, Chris Bednarek, Art Bednarek, Kevin Bednarek, and Scott Nethero. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the funeral home. Mrs. Caselli, beloved wife of 41 years to the late Arthur E. Caselli, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014. Born in Chicago, Ill, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Edward Bednarek and Harriet Josephine Konkolewski Bednarek. She was a member Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. She retired from Hallmark after 20 years of service. Surviving are her son, Mike Caselli (Karen) of Miami, FL; daughter, Debbie Caselli McAuley (David) of Cayce; two grandchildren, Thomas and Ryan; sister, Betty Jean Lambert (Ed) of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Ted Bednarek (Sonni) of Chicago; and a great number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Sterling House for their care and compassion.
