Obituary of Alice Estelle Yonce

WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Alice Estelle Yonce, 83, of West Columbia, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Reverend Clarence Boney will officiate. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Yonce, beloved wife of the late Alton Bruce Yonce, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014. She was a daughter of the late John Goff and Mamie Neeley Goff. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Kaye Hickman of West Columbia and Faye Lee (Raymond) of West Columbia; son, Glenn Yonce of Greenwood; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a grand-dog, Willy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Ola Mae Boney
