Obituary of Edwina Morrow

COLUMBIA—A graveside service for Edwina Morrow, 82, of Columbia, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Jeff Scott will officiate. Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209 will be assisting the family. Mrs. Morrow, beloved wife of the late Garrison Morrow, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Born in Buffalo, SC, she was a daughter of the late Hardie Lee Davis and Bertha Pearl Hipps Davis. Surviving are her son, John G. Harkins, Jr. (Pam) of Columbia; granddaughter, Nicole Huffman (Joey) of Lexington; sisters, Daisy Kinney (Richard) of Laurens, Catherine Bradford of Columbia, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Elizabeth Kingsmore and Bernice Bailey; two brothers, Hershel Davis and Tevis Davis. Memorials may be made to Dentsville Baptist Church, 6708 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC 29223 in Edwina's honor.
