Obituary of Carolyn Feaster Sheeks

SANDY RUN—Funeral service for Carolyn Feaster Sheeks, 69 of Sandy Run, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. The Reverend Odell Belger will officiate. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Assisting as pallbearers will be Chuck Feaster, Dalton Sheeks, Steve Rucker and Willie Boone. Mrs. Sheeks, beloved wife of 17 years David E. Sheeks, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter, Charles LeRoy Feaster and Ruby Craft Feaster. She was a member of Good Shepard Baptist Church which is now known as Lykesland Baptist Church. She retired from Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel Division after 31 years of loyal service. Surviving in addition to her husband, David E. Sheeks; daughters, Cynthia Elizabeth Boone (Richard) of Sandy Run and Elizabeth Anne Sheeks of Cayce; sons, James LeRoy Shealy (Angie) of Columbia and Mark Douglas Sheeks (Susan) of Greer; four loving grandchildren, Michael, Virginia, Dalton and Devin; brothers, Charles S. Feaster (Diane) of Winnsboro and Jimmy E. Feaster (Connie) of West Columbia.
