Obituary of Arthur R Trybala

WEST COLUMBIA-A Mass of Christian Burial for Arthur Raoul Trybala, 57, of West Columbia, will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2350 Augusta Hwy, Lexington, SC 29072. Father Ray Carlo will officiate. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073. Arthur passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014. Born in Niagara Falls, New York, he attended Lexington Schools and graduated from the University of South Carolina. Arthur worked for AVTEC in Gilbert, SC for 18 years and was currently employed with WABTEC Global Services in Columbia, SC. His avocation was music, and he was a guitar player who was a member of several local bands and had a roster of friends with a similar love of music. Surviving are his mother, Georgette David; sister, Monette T. Sox (Randy), sister-in-law, Amy Hatfield; nieces, Lauren Michelle Sox, Victoria Anne Sox and Brittany Windish; In-Laws, Dan and Barbara Hatfield; and Aunt, Anne DesPres. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and music friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Trybala, wife, Kimberley H. Trybala and step-father, Peter Paul David.
