Obituary of Christie Ann Campbell Hoover

WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral service for Christie Ann Campbell Hoover, 43, of West Columbia, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Reverend Steve Allen and Reverend Rocky Purvis will officiate. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Hoover passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Gerrie Grimsley Campbell and the late William C. Campbell, Sr. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. A graduate from Brookland-Cayce High School, Midland Tec, York Tec, and Columbia Bible College. Christie was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister and aunt. Surviving include her mother, Gerrie Campbell, son, Mitch Hoover, Savannah, GA; brother, Carl Campbell of Pelion; three nephews and nieces and five great-nieces and nephews.
