Obituary of Robin Springs Cooper

A funeral service for Robin Springs Cooper, 52, of Columbia will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Reverend Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. Interment will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pawmetto Lifeline, 1275 Bower Parkway, Columbia, SC 29212 or The Humane Society, 121 Humane Lane, Columbia, SC 29209. Mrs. Cooper passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2014. Robin was born in Florence, SC, to Lewis Levern Springs and Jacqueline Carnell Springs. She was a loving daughter, wife and sister who enjoyed cooking, caring for her family and her dogs. She was an accomplished photographer who loved adventure and world travel. She is survived by her parents and her husband of 14 years, Jerry Lavern Cooper and a brother, Tim Springs of West Columbia.
