Obituary of Steven Wayne Brabham

Memorial service for Steven Wayne Brabham, Sr., 43, of Lexington, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 4720 Augusta Road in Lexington. Pastor Jacob Helsley will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Mr. Brabham passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina to the late James Watson Brabham, Jr. and Annie Lea West Brabham. Steven was dedicated to his family, whom he loved. He was very generous and put others first, and never let anyone down. Steven was a jack-of all trades who could fix anything. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being out of doors. Surviving is his daughter, Mallory T. Brabham and her fiancé (Cody Simpson) of Lexington; son, Steven Wayne Brabham, Jr. of Lexington; his girlfriend, Paula J. Sitton and her children, Lakin Sitton and Cody Sitton of Lexington; brothers, James Douglas Brabham (Sandra) of Pendleton and David L. Brabham (Kim) of Cheraw; and seven nieces and nephews, Douglas Scott Brabham (Claudia) of Pendleton, Christopher Lane Brabham (Michelle) of Pendleton, Lori Powell (Wayne) of Anderson, Will York (Jennifer) of Bluffton, Josh York of Charleston, David Brabham, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant and Laura Brabham of Cheraw.
