Obituary of John William Rhodes

Mr. John William Rhodes 1929-2014 Mr. John William Rhodes, 84, widower of Dorothy Coleman Rhodes and a resident of Lexington South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2014. A son of the late Grady M. Rhodes and Marguerite Lowery Rhodes, he was born in Edgefield SC. Mr. Rhodes was a proud United States Army Veteran. Following his honorable discharge, he continued to serve his country as a Supply Supervisor for the Federal Civil Service, dedicating 45 honorable years. Mr. Rhodes enjoyed his family and was a devoted husband. He was a member of Christ the King Church in Hazelwood MO for over 35 years. Survivors include his nephews Scott Rhodes (Trudy) of Chapin SC, and Greg Rhodes (Puttavadee) of Centerville OH. Mr. Rhodes was predeceased by a brother; Grady L. Rhodes.
