Obituary of Henry Leon Crosby

Henry Leon Crosby, Jr. Lexington, SC - Services for Command Chief Master Sgt(SCANG Ret.)Henry Leon Crosby, Jr. will be held at Thompson Funeral Home Lexington, SC, Wed. Aug. 13 at 10am. Visitation will be at 9:30am. He will be laid to rest at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery with full military honors. Chief Crosby died peacefully Aug. 9 surrounded by his family. He was born in Columbia, SC Feb. 6, 1936. He was the son of the late Henry Leon & Jesse McLendon Crosby. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather & brother. He was an avid Gamecock football & baseball fan and he especially loved his beach vacations with his family & friends. He also proudly served his country for 39 years. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Knight Crosby, his children Cathy Crosby Campbell(Steve),Susan Crosby Legrand(George), Mary Evelyn Crosby(Deana), John Stuart Crosby(Trina), step-son Lawson Condell(Leah),grandchildren Kirbi Poston, Katy Legrand, James Poston, Sam Legrand, Charlie, Henry, Max Crosby, Raleigh & Adley Condell, siblings Jim Crosby(Dana), Joyce Crosby Burriss(Mickey), Paul Crosby(Christina) and Gary Swain(Becky). He was predeceased by his infant son, Michael Leon Crosby & sister, Joan Crosby Peake. His family would like to thank Morgan Webster with Regency Hospice for her attentive care & compassion.
