Obituary of Joann Lewis Howard

Funeral service for Joann Lewis Howard, 75 of Lexington, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Chapel at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Burial will follow in Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Howard passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014. She was born in Lexington County on April 16, 1939 to the late Grady Lewis and Junita Elizabeth Hook Lewis. She was the wife of Gordon L. Addy, Sr. for 35 years. Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Charles Grady Howard (Sue); sisters, Marilyn Hulon and Judy Geddings; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, 720 Bethany Church Road, Lexington, SC 29073.
