Obituary of Robert Ashley Hall

Cayce - Funeral service for Robert "Bobby" Ashley Hall, 37, of Cayce, will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Chapel at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington with the Reverend Gene Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Mr. Hall passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014. He was born in West Columbia to Judy C. and the late Alexis B. "Buddy" Hall on July 10, 1977. He was a graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School and Charleston Southern University. Bobby was a loving son, brother and uncle, and a friend to many. Surviving in addition to his mother, Judy C. Hall of Cayce, are sister, Renee Shumpert (Eric) of Gaston; brother, Bryan Hall (Jennifer) of Lexington; aunts, Shelby Price (J.W.) of Leesville, Jeanette Crumpton (Bill) of Lexington, Joyce Furtick (David) of Lexington, and Betty Jo Jones of Cayce; uncle, Jerry Chavis (Debbie) of Lexington; great aunt, Janice "Bootsie" Senterfeit (George Robert) of Leesville; nephews, Justin Shumpert (Kristen), Hunter Shumpert, Collin Shumpert, Jonathan Shumpert and Anderson Hall and numerous cousins; girlfriend, Carla Seckinger and her two children, Connor and Lizzie Seckinger all of St. Matthews. Mr. Hall was predeceased by his father, Alexis B. "Buddy" Hall; Aunt Mickey and Uncle David Day.
