Obituary of Nancy C Ferguson
Columbia - Nancy C. Ferguson, 74, died on September 28, 2014 at Agape Hospice surrounded by her beloved family and friends after a long and valiant battle with COPD. Born March 17, 1940 in Elkton, KY she was a daughter of the late Albert Addison and Virginia (Buckley) Kephart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Stogner; sisters, Judy Leavell and Joyce Petersen; and the love of her life George Plyler.
She is survived by daughter, Sandra Brown Fencl (George); grandchildren, Cayla Flanagan (Ryan), Christian Fencl and Tony Fencl; great-granddaughter, Kennadie Flanagan; daughter, Meg Brown Adams (Jerry); grandchildren, Whitney Adams and Mason Adams; daughter, Jodi Brown; son, David Brown. She was loved by many including, Kathy Plyler Matheny (Joe) and John Plyler.
She spent many years working at Hatcher's Playschool, where she was lovingly called "Cinderella".
A memorial service will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209 at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Inurnment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A reception following the services will be held at Thompson Funeral Home.
