Obituary of Ronnie K. Gantt

Lexington - Ronnie Kay Gantt, Sr., 72, of Lexington, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014. Born in Richland County, he was a son of the late DC Gantt and Gladys Jeffcoat Lewis. Mr. Gantt served in the US army for 10 years and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was an electrician by trade and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Gantt is survived by a daughter, Pamelia Bell (Rusty); two sons, Ronnie Gantt (Tammy) and Jimmy Gantt (Elsa); 4 step-children, 20 grandchildren; and a brother, Frankie Gantt (Kay). Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November, 20, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2224 Augusta Road, Lexington SC 29072. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.
