Obituary of Loretta Long

Loretta Mouzon Long, 55, of Columbia SC, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014. Loretta was a loyal employee of Palmetto Health Baptist for 34 years. She attended Taylor Street Baptist Church which she loved dearly. Loretta was a very loved and special person to all of her family. She loved her job and her supervisor Tussy. She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Loretta is survived by her daughters; Donna Long Proctor (Jamie) and Shanna Long, grandchildren Reona, Racheal and Jeremy Proctor, her mother; Alice Panter, her brothers; Johnny Mouzon, Ronnie Mouzon (Kitty), and her sisters; Bonnie Roberts (Gary), Sally Dowding, Alice Fudge (David). She was predeceased by her loving sister, Cheryl Wood. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11 AM, at Taylor Street Baptist Church, 1000 Hafley Court., Cayce SC 29033. Visitation will immediately follow at the church. Pastor Dan Rabon will be officiating. A special thank you to her church family, staff at SCOA and Palmetto Health Baptist for the kindness they have shown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Taylor St. Baptist Church.
