Obituary of Mary Ruth Jackson

Mary Ruth Jackson, 87, of Lexington passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Aiken County, a daughter of the late Fred Lee and Bertha Louise Argoe Jackson, Ms. Jackson retired as a bookkeeper from Carolina Retail Packaging and was a charter member of Life Springs Worship Center. Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Henneberry (Thomas); two sisters, Harriet White (Warren) and Betty Jackson; one brother, Theron Jackson (Velma); three grandchildren, Robert Henry Williams ll, Abigail Marie Williams and Joseph Patrick Henneberry; two great-grandchildren, Ben and Ethan. In addition to her parents, Ms. Jackson was predeceased by a sister, Willie Mae Shumpert; three brothers, Curtis, John T. and James Jackson. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Life Springs Worship Center, Lexington SC. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 August Road Lexington, SC 29073.
