Obituary of Cora Derrick

Graveside services for Cora Derrick, 95, of West Columbia, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Celestial Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Yu-Fong Chong will officiate. Cora passed away peacefully Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Agape Senior Center in West Columbia. Cora was born May 25, 1919 in Bethune, SC, the daughter of the late James Franklin and Mary Catoe Moseley. Cora was a member of First Baptist Church of West Columbia. She is survived by a step-daughter, Patsy Buck (Richard) of Columbia; sisters, Eula Mae Magnum of Lancaster and Ethel Jones of Darlington. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
