Obituary of Charles McLemore

Charles "Mac" McLemore, 68, of West Columbia, husband of Sharon Menscer McLemore, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Mr. McLemore was a son of the late Otis and Floride Smith McLemore. Mr. McLemore was a bus driver for the City of Columbia and was a member of West Side Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of 50 years, are a daughter, Shannon McLemore Frazee (Joey); a son Michael McLemore; three grandchildren, Shaina, AJ and Carlie. In addition to his parents, Mr. McLemore was predeceased by one sister, Mary Baz. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.
