HOPKINS - Funeral service for Phillip Leon Stewart Jr., 42 , will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the funeral home. Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park is assisting the family. Mr. Stewart passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015. He was born on July 4, 1972 in Columbia to Phillip Leon and Joanne Neeley Stewart. He was known as a gentleman with a good heart who would give his time to anyone and will also be remembered as a hard worker that was funny at times. Mr. Stewart will be missed by his family whom he loved dearly. In addition to his parents, Phillip is survived by his fiancé, Rebecca Groomes and her son, Mason Groomes of the home; a sister, Sherri Diaz of Hopkins.
