Obituary of Ruth Klinesteker

West Columbia - Ruth Klinesteker, 72, of West Columbia, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015, at Lexington Medical Center. She was born on April 28, 1942 in Evart, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Lambert and Beatrice Baldwin. Ruth is survived by her husband, James Klinesteker, who says "My Sweetie will be missed". In addition are sisters, Alice Chilcote, Mary Ann Nietz and Mable Cole; her children are daughters, Tammy Garner, Dorie Smith (Gary), Denise Beck (Frank); and step-children, Jimmy Klinesteker (Loretta) and Dwayne Cook (Vicky). She is also survived by seven grandchildren. Ruth finished Everette High School in Michigan. Ruth was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the 40 & 8 Lafemmes. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of The Holy Spirit, at Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement community, 1 Still Hopes Drive, West Columbia, on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. Father Johnnie Davis, Chaplain Priest and next door neighbor to Ruth and Jim, will officiate at her memorial service. A private burial service for family and friends will take place at a later date in Michigan.'
