Obituary of Lucille T. Harris

Columbia-Lucille T. Harris, 89, formerly of Raleigh, NC entered into rest Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Palmetto Heath Baptist. Born April 6, 1925 in Boston, MA, she was a daughter of the late Albert W. and Thelma (Parsons) Tower. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas M. Parkman, Jr.; second husband, Robert Morton Harris, Sr.; as well as two brothers, Richard and Albert Tower. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Parkman, III, and Michael Parkman, Sr. (Melinda); sister, Joyce Parrish; two grandchildren, Michael, Jr. (Nicole) and Shay Parkman and four great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on, Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., in Raleigh National Cemetery, 501 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh, NC 27610. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M., on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209.
