Obituary of Nancy Simpson Winstead

Cayce - Nancy Simpson Winstead, 84, of Cayce, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2015 at Lexington Medical Center. She was born on June 8, 1930 in Selma, North Carolina to the late William Shafter and Lura Benson Simpson. Nancy is survived by son, Sidney Winstead, Jr and daughter, Cathy Williams (Tim), both of Lexington; son, Ronald Winstead (Sandra) of Gaston; grandchildren, T.J. Williams, Stacey Pommier, Veronica Stapleton and Jay Winstead; and great-grandchildren, Chloe and Logan. She was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel of West Columbia on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Brett Marlowe officiating. Interment will be in Ft.
