Obituary of Charles Joseph Seelbinder

West Columbia - Charles Seelbinder, 83, of West Columbia passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015. He was born on July 13, 1931 to the late Stanley and Francis Vaden Seelbinder. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Iola Seelbinder. Charles is survived by his daughter, Cathy Seelbinder; son, Gary (Melissa) Seelbinder; two grandchildren, Dusty Keefe and Charles J. Seelbinder II; his brother, Walt (Pam) Seelbinder; his sister, Linda (Dave) Peters; several nieces and nephews; and his four-legged companion, Star. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Kitti Wake Baptist Church with burial to follow in Woodridge Memorial Park with full military honors. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015.
