Terry, You know how Daddy loved his family. I always felt so fortunate to have so many fun cousins, aunts, and uncles. We have been blessed by the faith of our fathers and mothers. They really were the 'greatest generation'! Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I had no idea he had done these 2 specific things. I was only 6 years old when we left Calhoun Falls, so my memories from there are few. Only through the memories of others do I know of the many ways he helped the students and players of CFHS. I'm humbled that he touched so many lives.

Our hearts are so saddened about the passing of Coach Fulmer. Coach Fulmer did so many wonderful things that most people never knew about. For instance buying Christmas for many children that would have never have had Christmas. He taught us respect and we all remember him for his love and he once took a child that had an accident on the bus and bought him a new outfit of clothes to keep him from being made fun. Coach Fulmer planted a seed in all the students lives to do your best and most of all respect everyone. Our prayers and love are with you during this time.
Students that Coach Fulmer taught in Calhoun Falls and our Greatest Principal this world will ever know.

Sad to hear that such a great Christian man has left us. He was my science teacher in Calhoun Falls in the 1950s. Everybody loved Mr. Fulmer. I also remember him playing the clarinet at some of our church services at Northside Baptist Church in Calhoun Falls. In the 11th grade, I assisted Mr. Fulmer (asst. principal) in his office. He was always so complimentary, even when I made mistakes.
All three of my brothers played football for him and had the greatest respect for him.
I will always have the fondest memories of my association with him.
Mrs. Fulmer was also one of my teachers, and they both have a warm spot in my heart and memories.
Heartfelt condolences to the family. He will be missed.
Jeweline Hall Donehue, Greer, SC.
