Obituary of Mary Agnes Salmons

West Columbia - Mary Agnes Salmons, 90 of West Columbia, SC went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2015. Born January 18, 1925 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Belle S. Thompson. Mary loved to spend time with her family, paint with oils, shop, read, and reminisce about old times. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her daughter, Celeste Ann Sword. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Verver of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Josh Verver (Sarah) and Jenny Strahl (Greg) of Denver, Colorado, Chris Sword (Stephanie), Gabrielle Sword and Jason Sword (Nicole) of Columbia, SC; great grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Strahl and Kylie and Nikayla Verver of Denver, Colorado, Ashley Birch and Jack Andrew Sword of Columbia, SC; great-great grandson, Lucas Maxwell-Birch. Following her wishes, her family will hold a private gathering to celebrate her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
