Obituary of Juanita M. Sims

Juanita M. Sims, 82, of Lexington passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was born on July 31, 1932 to the late Thomas Boyd and Donna Marie McFadden. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Ronnie Sims and her two brothers, Bobby and Billy McFadden. She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Sims of 65 years; daughters, Carolyn (Steve) Corbin, Vickie Sanders and Lori (Arthur) Broom; sons, Kenny Sims and Carl (Debra) Sims Jr.; and brothers, Ralph, Richard and Donnie McFadden. She also has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Fish Hatchery Road Church of God, 3249 Fish Hatchery Road Gaston. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street West Columbia.
