Obituary of Esther Brazell Rollison

Esther Brazell Rollison, 84, of Cayce passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Cayce United Methodist Church, 1600 12th Street, Cayce, SC 29033. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:30 - 7:30 PM Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169 Esther was born on October 26, 1930 in Richland County, a daughter of the late John Edward and Marion Havird Brazell. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Wilson of Greer, Diane Rollison of Cayce; sons, Curtis W. Rollison of Lexington and James Michael Rollison (Shelby) of Gaston; three grandchildren, James M. Rollison, Jr. of Clarinda, Iowa, Annette Monts (Derrick) of West Columbia and Michelle Rawl (Randy) of Lexington; and four great-grandchildren, Kirstie Rawl, Baylea Rawl, Sara Monts, Hanna Monts. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Curtis "Bo" Rollison; daughters, Mary Jane Neville and Virginia Yarborough; sister, Eunice B. Boswell; brothers, Edward E. Brazell and Paul Glen Brazell and an infant brother, Luther Brazell. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Crews Pointe at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care, for their attentive and loving care, and a special thank you to Frances McCurdy for her devotion to our mother.
