Obituary of Sherie Coffey

Sherie Coffey, 51, of Gaston wife of Donald Coffey, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia. She was born on March 21, 1964 in Sarasota, FL. to the late Richard Harrison and Diane Colgan Cook. In addition to her husband of 29 years, she is survived by; son, Trey Coffey (Maggie); granddaughter, Scarlett Raylee Coffey; sisters, Yolanda Lucas (Carl) and Marjorie Compton (Shane); several nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold Beard and Jacquelyn Moon. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Joshua Coffey. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Celestial Memorial Gardens, with burial to follow. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is assisting the family. Donations may be made to charity of one's choice.
