Obituary of Charles Bennett Tucker

Charles Bennett "Ben" Tucker, 63 , of Leesville , South Carolina passed away April 29, 2015 peacefully at home with his family surrounding him. . He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Charles and Chase Patterson Tucker. Ben attended BC High School when he wasn't fishing. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Some of his favorite times spent were with his family and farming. He combined a career as a truck driver and custom metal fabricator. He will be missed dearly by so many friends and his family. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Debra R. Tucker; his sons, Adam, Chase, and Zachary; and daughters, Shirley and Karie. He is also survived by his brothers, Lance Tucker (Terry) of Lexington, Bruce Tucker of Wandering Nations; and his sister, Charlene Smith (Ron) of Gilbert. He also leaves behind his four legged children, Mack and Binker. He also leaves behind his beautiful grandchildren, Austyn and Faren, Aiden and Elizabeth. He also leaves behind his extended family, Brenda Keisler (Larry), Rick Corley (Lisa), Sandra Stevenson (David) and loving friend Lee Shealy, and Bobby Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles B. Tucker, Sr. and long-time friend, Tony Shirah. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 9-10AM. Funeral services will follow in the chapel.
