Obituary of Harold Wethington

LEXINGTON-Harold W. Wethington, 80, of Lexington passed away on April 30, 2015. He was born in Panama City, Florida on May 12, 1934 to the late John and Allie Wethington. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary whom he was married to two days short of their 60th anniversary. Harold was a Korean War Veteran and served in the South Carolina Army National Guard as well as the United States Navy. He worked for more than fifty years in the Industrial Heating and Air Conditioning business. He had a firm faith in God and the resurrection hope that the Bible promises. Harold is also survived by four sons, Paul, Donald, Ben and Harold; one brother, James Wethington and two sisters, Sybil, and Betty; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park in Lexington. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.
