Obituary of Doris Nellie Wheeler

Doris Nellie Wheeler, 70, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away May 9, 2015 at her home. She was born on May 14, 1944 in Columbia, South Carolina to Henry Jacob and Annie Mary Sharp Wheeler. Doris is survived by her brother, Albert Wheeler of Columbia; sisters, Edith Rose Taylor (Wayne) and Eunice Johnston of Saluda; nieces and nephews, Minica and Tony Taylor, Tia and Isaac Wheeler, Karen, Medina, Laurie, Peter and Shannon Johnston. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Leatha Haskell and Julia Mildred Sharp Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015, Doris's birthday, at 1:00PM at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia with Rev. Ed Lynch officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Olympia Cemetery .
