Obituary of Thelma Louise Williams

Thelma Louise Williams, 71 of Lexington, South Carolina passed away May 21, 2015 at her home. She was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on August 30, 1943 to the late William A. and Albertas Keeney Thelma Williams was a devout Christian. Her love for the Lord flowed over into being a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She was led to be a pastor for 32 years. Thelma is survived by her husband, Lewis Woodrow Williams, Sr; Children, Vivian Peeples (Jerry Powell), Patricia Owens (Edward), Teresa Sharpe (Michael), Deborah Shealy (Donnie), Lewis Williams, Jr (Sue), Sue Ann Sharp (Jeff), Lynn Williams (Cindy) and Anthony Williams; 23 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Son, Michael Williams; brother, Marion Keeney; and sister, Mary Keeney. In addition to her children she is survived by her brothers, Kenneth Keeney, Carl "Ricky" Keeney, David "Chuck" Keeney and Murrell Keeney; and sisters, Carol Cooper, Kathy Keeney, and Patricia Keeney, The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Independent Church of the Living Word with burial to follow in Olympia Cemetery.
